Odem Mountain Winery

Odem Mountain Winery is a family-run boutique winery founded in 2003 in the Golan Heights, an area steeped in biblical history. The winery stands near the ancient territory of Bashan, known in the Old Testament for its strong oak trees and thriving agriculture. This historical connection to the land is reflected in the winery’s commitment to sustainable farming and producing wines that honor the region’s natural qualities.

It is the northernmost winery in Israel and benefits from a climate that allows for slow grape ripening, which combined with volcanic soil, cool climate, and surrounding oak forests, enhances the depth and complexity of its wines. The winery is owned and operated by the Alfasi family, with Adam Alfasi as the head winemaker.

Their approach blends tradition and modern techniques to create wines that highlight the distinctive terroir of the region. By combining generations of winemaking knowledge with the unique landscape of the Golan Heights, Odem Mountain Winery produces wines that tell the story of the land – one rooted in biblical history, agricultural abundance, and a passion for craftsmanship.
