This side plate is part of the Wildflower Collection – a handmade series by Israeli ceramicist Lilach, who signs each piece by hand. The plate is wheel-thrown, with soft spirals still visible beneath a warm ivory glaze, gently speckled for an earthy finish.
Brightly hand painted blooms appear on two sides of the rim. One cluster features golden yellow bell-shaped flowers, likely modeled after Israeli wild mustard or freesia, while the other is filled with deep red poppies: an iconic bloom across the Galilee and Negev hillsides. The petals are brushed with soft, expressive strokes, framed by slender green stems and leaves. The composition feels lively and organic, as if the flowers had been tucked between the clay and glaze mid-bloom.
Measuring approximately 7.75 inches across and weighing just under 1 pound, this plate is a lovely size for side dishes, fruit, or dessert. The back is left unglazed and signed by Lilach, with a hand-painted red poppy marking its authenticity.
Made in Israel, this piece brings wildflower season to your table all year long – one plate at a time.
