This soap is produced by Adva, founded in 2014 by Shlomo and Naomi Keshet in Kochav HaShachar, in the Binyamin region. The company uses a cold process method that preserves the character of natural oils and plant based ingredients, and they incorporate native herbs gathered from nearby fields alongside minerals sourced from the Dead Sea.
Adva was established after the birth of the Keshets’ son, Elanatan, with the intention of creating stable employment for individuals with special needs. That structure remains central to the workshop today, where employees participate directly in measuring, mixing, cutting, wrapping, and packaging the products.
The soap included in this box is citron scented. The citron, or etrog, is associated with the festival of Sukkot, during which it is held together with the lulav as part of an ancient agricultural commandment. Among traditional Jewish sources, the etrog is distinguished by possessing both fragrance and flavor, qualities often associated with knowledge joined to action. Cultivating etrog trees requires unusual precision, since the fruit bruises easily and develops slowly under close supervision.
This bar combines essential oils of lemon, orange, bergamot, and lemongrass. Yellow clay helps draw impurities from the skin, while turmeric is valued for its soothing properties.
“And you shall take for yourselves on the first day the fruit of a beautiful tree…”
— Leviticus 23:40

Adva Citron Soap
Adva Natural Treasures (previously named Saboneto) was established in 2014 by Shlomo and Naomi Keshet. The parents of 6 boys felt incredibly blessed by the birth of their 4th son, who they named Elnatan, which means God gives in Hebrew. Elnatan was born with Down Syndrome. Shlomo and Naomi wanted to ensure that all their children, including Elnatan, would find ways to share their unique gifts and talents with the world. With that in mind, Adva was established with a mission to embrace all people, and specifically those with special needs. Employment with Adva allows them to work and earn a dignified living.
