Argan oil and Shikakai Solid Shampoo
Lily Rose is an Israeli natural skincare company founded by Hanna Ben-Shushan. Hanna was born in France and made aliyah at eighteen. She studied architecture and settled with her husband in Kfar Etzion, where a shared curiosity about everyday household ingredients would eventually grow into a business.
Hanna’s path into skincare began during her first pregnancy, when she became far more mindful of what went into the products her family used every day. She started looking for natural, organic options that were pure, high-quality, and gentle on the environment — and when she couldn’t find them, she set out to make her own. What followed was two years of independent study: she and her husband read original sources, examined natural skincare formulas, and learned traditional soap-making techniques at home.
Hanna tested oils, waxes, botanicals, and other ingredients in small batches. Friends tried her early soaps and came back with feedback — and with requests for more. That growing circle of customers formed well before Lily Rose had a name or a workshop.
