Bier Judaica is a business whose story is interwoven with the rebirth of the modern State of Israel. In 1935, at the age of eight, Yitzhak Bier arrived on the sandy shores of Israel with his family, all of whom had emigrated from Germany.

Yitzhak was a talented young man, and at the age of fifteen, he was accepted to the prestigious Bezalel Academy of Design in Jerusalem. He completed a four-year course of study in three and went on to win first prize in a design competition for a beautiful handmade hanukiah! This win allowed him to invest in some tools and machines, and he began making his unique Judaica in his basement, and Bier Judaica was born!

For over seventy years, Yitzhak and his sons Mordechai and Meir have made world-class Judaica in the Holy City of Jerusalem. Recently the third generation of Biers joined the company when Yitzhaks grandson, Yoseph, joined Bier Judaica.

Each product that the Biers create is infused with their love of Israel, Zionist spirit, and deep connection to the Jewish roots.
