Elisheva Shira

Elisheva Shira first discovered her ancestral homeland as a young woman. At eighteen, she adventured across Israel with a backpack and a thirst for knowledge and adventure. She fell in love with the land and the beauty she saw at each turn.

Elisheva returned to the USA, receiving her Bachelor’s of Fine Arts degree from Parsons School of Design in New York City, followed by her Master’s of Fine Arts in painting and photography from New Paltz University in upstate New York.

Elisheva continued her journey connecting more deeply with her Jewish roots. She returned to Israel, where she met her husband and settled to establish her home in the Judean Hills in the small Jewish settlement of Bat Ayin. She raised a family and continued her artists journey, drawing and painting all the beauty she saw and experienced.
