Kfar Hassidim, Religious Youth Village

Kfar Hasidim Religious Youth Village was founded in 1936 as a safe haven for Jewish youth who left Germany without parents on the eve of World War II. Since then, the village operated as an educational institution that provides emotional and academic support to boys and girls, most of whom live in the village boarding school residences during the week.

The village’s educational vision is to combine Torah and work to educate young people and foster a pioneering spirit and love of the land. The youth village currently boasts about 500 students, including a special group of boys called “the connected.” These lads learn Torah and agriculture and lovingly caretake the olive groves. They harvest the olives by hand and participate in the production of superior olive oil.
