Studio Botz, an artisan pottery studio based in Israel, creates each piece by hand using methods passed down through generations of ceramic craftsmanship. This mug reflects the spontaneity and rhythm of work at the wheel, where each brushstroke of color becomes part of the clay’s surface rather than decoration laid on top.
The curved shape rests naturally in the hand, with flowing marks of blue, green, and ochre glaze over a warm cream body. These patterns echo the shifting tones of the Israeli landscape: the deep blues of the Mediterranean, the green of fields of the North after rain, and the muted gold of desert earth under sunlight. All whimsically painted in the spirit of unbreakable Israeli joy.
Studio Botz works in small quantities to maintain quality and preserve a mindful approach to creation. When you bring one of their pieces into your home, you are helping sustain independent craftsmanship in Israel and directly supporting the artist behind it. Each mug is slightly different, carrying the trace of the potter’s hand and the spirit of the land where it was formed.

Colorful Curves Mug by Studio Botz
Mud Studio is a boutique ceramic studio in Moshav, Kfar Aviv. Hadas XX owns it. Hadas is not only a ceramic artist but, first and foremost, a wife to Ido and a mom to Shaked and Omar.
Hadas began her creative journey as a young girl when she joined her mother at a pottery class. The experience left a lasting impression on the young girl, although she explored other areas of creativity following high school.
Hadas studied architecture and interior design and worked in the field for over a decade. Her return to ceramics was a happy coincidence. She gifted herself ceramics lessons for her 32nd birthday, and she immediately felt at home, and her passion for clay was reignited! She threw herself into learning ceramic techniques and exploring her creativity.
Following the joyful birth of her son Omar, Hadas took a courageous leap of faith and opened Mud Studio to pursue her dream of creating with clay. She draws her inspiration from the natural beauty of Israel. The trees surrounding her home inform her creative choices, and the objects she creates reflect the Holy Land.
Hadas is eager to share the beauty of ceramics. In addition to creating exquisite handmade, one-of-a-kind objects, she also loves to teach ceramics to others who, like her, are enchanted with the creativity of clay.
