This chocolate bar is created by one of Israel’s most storied chocolatier families, and carries a message of strength and care. This “Speedy Recovery” chocolate bar – meant to be a delicious version of a “Get Well Soon” card – comes from De Karina, a boutique chocolate workshop founded in the Golan Heights by Karina Chepel Baruch, a third generation chocolatier whose family fled war torn Europe and rebuilt their craft in South America before finally planting roots in Israel.
This bar embodies that blend: natural milk chocolate infused with salted caramel, made with 100% natural ingredients and crafted according to more than a century of accumulated family knowledge. De Karina’s team still works in small batches, emphasizing traditional tempering, hand-finishing, and local sourcing whenever possible. Every bar supports a business that has become a cultural anchor in the Golan, employing local residents and helping preserve the unique character of this frontier region.
Because this bar is intentionally labeled “Speedy Recovery,” it carries special significance. It is often given as a thoughtful gift — a small gesture of warmth and encouragement for those who are navigating their way through health issues, created by people who know what it means to rebuild and keep moving forward. Sharing it is a way of sending both sweetness and solidarity from the Golan.

“Speedy Recovery” Milk Chocolate with Salted Caramel
Karina and Gyora Chepelinski established their boutique chocolate factory in 2006 on Kibbutz Ein Zivan, in the heart of the beautiful Golan Heights.
Karina inherited her chocolate recipes from her grandfather, who was a European chocolate maker. He left Europe for South America, where Karina’s father continued the family business with a South American twist.
Karina synthesizes over one hundred years of her family’s passion for making exquisite chocolates with her scientific knowledge of nutrition and chemistry. (She hold three degrees) She has combined the traditional working methods of her father and grandfather with her innovative research to create the most delicious chocolates and chocolate products.
Karina has continued to uphold her family tradition of commitment to quality ingredients, focusing on using natural ingredients and a minimum of processed materials. Karina only uses Israeli milk in her products. (Chalav Yisrael)
Creativity and love for chocolate drive her in all she does, and it shows in the high quality of her creation
