In Israel, cocoa is not treated as a children’s drink. It is stirred slowly on the stove, poured into mugs on winter evenings, and seasoned the same way tea or coffee often is. Fenster’s Cocoa with Cinnamon and Cardamom grows out of that tradition. This is a drinking cocoa built around warmth and spice, grounded in flavors that already belong on Israeli shelves.
The cocoa blend starts with cocoa powder that’s chosen for depth and body, then mixed with ground cinnamon and cardamom. Cinnamon brings a dry warmth that spreads gradually, while cardamom adds a soft, aromatic edge that opens as the cocoa dissolves. When whisked into hot milk or water, the powder melts evenly, forming a drink that feels full and rounded. The spices stay present from the first sip through the last, echoing the way they are used in Israeli kitchens.
The box is rigid and compact, designed for pantry storage and frequent use. This is the kind of drink poured after dinner, on cool nights, or during quiet afternoon breaks, fitting naturally into the routines of home life in Israel.

Fenster’s Cocoa with Cinnamon and Cardamom
Founded by the Fenster family, Fenster’s Toffee makes old-fashioned sweet treats with a distinctly Israeli character. Before he ever worked with chocolate, Oded had a surprising first career — he was a professional basketball player in Israel, until a serious knee injury cut it short. Changing direction, he traveled to Belgium to learn the art of chocolate making alongside some of Europe’s most respected chocolatiers, then returned home to open his own workshop.
Today Oded and Eyal craft chocolates, toffees, and marzipans entirely by hand, inspired by the authentic flavors of Israel — delicate marzipan, rich pistachios, warm cinnamon, and bright orange. Each piece has a real sense of place, carrying the aromas of ripe fruit, fragrant spices, and the people who lovingly make these sweets by hand.
Their workshop is also a place of purpose. The Fensters employ and train young adults with developmental disabilities, giving them meaningful work, real skills, and a space where they are treated with respect and dignity.
Looking ahead, there’s plenty more on the way: a honey toffee for Rosh Hashanah, sour toffee snacks for kids, a new marzipan bar, chocolate-coated marzipans, unique marmalade flavors, a blondie crunch, and other sweet surprises still to come.
“Our message to you is simple: we hope you feel the true meaning of what we are building together. Your support gives us the strength to grow our business, create jobs, and continue making our handmade sweets during one of the most challenging times Israel has faced. In return, we hope every bite brings you a little moment of happiness and a deeper, heartfelt connection to the beauty, flavors, and spirit of our country. Thank you for everything!”
