Propolis, also known as bee glue, is a resinous mixture that honey bees produce. It has been reported to have various health benefits. Propolis is an excellent source of certain polyphenols that are called flavonoids. These flavonoids function as antioxidants.
The benefits of propolis are further enhanced with the addition of Astralagus (Kadad Karumi in Hebrew,) a traditional medicinal plant common throughout the world with a long history of use by traditional healers. According to holistic medicine, Astralagus is known to strengthen and increase the body’s resistance to infection.
Echinacea originates from the American continent. In folk medicine, the plant is used as an anti-infection and inflammation treatment and helps reduce fever.
Coptis, also referred to as Goldenseal, is used in holistic medicine as an anti-inflammatory treatment. Combining the herbs with propolis creates a tincture that may be used daily to boost health.
