Description

Elah Valley Farm’s natural raisins are made from flame grapes. This variety is perfect for manufacturing raisins as they contain no seeds.

Meiri Lavi hand harvests his grapes and dries them naturally in the sun following an age-old Holy Land method of making raisins.

Having grown on Israeli soil and then dehydrated under the Israeli sun, these simple raisins capture the spirit of the Holy Land! They make a great snack while reminding us of the deep agricultural history connecting the Holy Land and grape vines.

You’ll love tucking these into school lunch boxes or carrying them during travel or long days out of the house. They are perfect for snacking and for cooking. Try them in oatmeal cookies for a special touch of Israel!

Allergy information: May contain almonds, peanuts, nuts, and sesame.

Meiri Lavi

Meiri Lavi founded Elah Valley Raisin farm in a small village called Givat Yeshayahu. It is located in the famous Elah Valley, where King David fought Goliath.

Meiri moved to the area about 40 years ago with the dream of being a farmer. He planted all of his grape vines which have become the foundation for his business.

He grows many different varieties of grapes for winemaking and eating, and he is inspired by the historic sites in his area, which show how essential grapes were for the ancient Israelites.
