Ingredients
Israeli Olive oil 1 Tbsp
Date honey (Silan) 2 Tbsp
Good quality balsamic vinegar 2 Tbsp
Coarse salt 1 Tbsp
Paprika 2 teaspoon
Garlic powder 2 teaspoon
Onion powder 1/2 teaspoon
Dried thyme 1/2 teaspoon
Black pepper 1/4 teaspoon
Ground Cumin 1/4 teaspoon
Cayenne pepper (optional) 1/8 teaspoon
Ribeye or minute steak 2 lbs
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
Step 2
In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, date honey, and vinegar.
Step 3
Coat the roast with the mixture evenly.
Step 4
In a small bowl, combine the salt and spices.
Step 5
Sprinkle the seasoning mixture over the roast and place in a pan the size of the roast (otherwise the pan drippings will scorch).
Step 6
Put the roast in the oven and after 10 minutes lower the heat to 325°F (160°C).
Step 7
Roast uncovered for 45 minutes.
Step 8
Let the roast rest for 10 minutes before serving.
