Israeli-style beef kebabs with pomegranate and dates marinade

Ground beef 2 Pounds
Garlic, minced 4 Cloves
Pistachio, finely ground in a food processor 1 Cup
Ground Cumin 1 Tbsp
Kosher salt 2 Tsp
Freshly ground black pepper 1 Tsp
Date honey (Silan) 1/4 Cup
Fresh parsley, chopped 1/4 Cup
Pomegranate molasses 1/4 Cup
Israeli Olive oil 1/2 Cup
Step 1
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, 2 garlic cloves, pistachio, chopped parsley, cumin, salt and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
Step 2
Divide the mixture into 15-16 equal portions and roll each portion into a ball. Using your hands, flatten each ball into 4 inch long, flat kebabs.
Step 3
Place the patties on skewers and put in the fridge, uncovered, for 30 to 60 minute.
Step 4
In a small bowl, combine the date honey, pomegranate molasses , salt and olive oil together to make the marinade. Spread the marinade evenly over both sides of each kebab skewer before cooking them to ensure even coverage of flavor and color.
Step 5
Preheat your grill to medium heat (325°F/180°C ). Grill the kebabs for about 5 minutes per side. Serve warm with your favorite sides! Enjoy!
