Ingredients
Large cucumber, sliced 1
Cherry tomatoes, sliced 1 Cup
Red onion, thinly sliced 1 small
Head of lettuce, chopped 1
Chopped fresh parsley 1/2 Cup
Chopped fresh mint 1/2 Cup
Chopped fresh dill 1/4 Cup
Extra virgin olive oil 1/4 Cup
Freshly squeezed lemon juice 1/4 Cup
Garlic, minced 2 Cloves
Ground sumac 1 teaspoon
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Pita breads, toasted and broken into pieces 2
Instructions
Step 1
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cucumber, tomatoes, red onion, lettuce, parsley, mint, and dill.
Step 2
In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, sumac, salt, and black pepper.
Step 3
Pour the dressing over the salad and toss well to coat.
Step 4
Just before serving, add the toasted pita bread pieces and toss again.
Step 5
